Tomás Bernal Nicolás

Tomás Bernal Nicolás has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and design fields. Tomás is currently a Senior Product Design Engineer at Cambridge Energy, where they focus on the design, research, and development of new products in the field of solar energy. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Technical Advisor at SMC España, S.A. From 2015 to 2021, Tomás worked at MTorres Diseños Industriales, SAU, where they held multiple roles, including Additive Manufacturing Leader and Mechanical Designer in the Innovation Department. At Altran España, they worked as a Design Engineer, Automotive Designer, and Design Consultant, specializing in industrial design and engineering for various sectors. Tomás also worked as an Industrial Designer at Fainsa and as a Technical Engineer and Industrial Designer at Sinergia Racing Group. Throughout their career, Tomás has gained expertise in various design software applications, including Unigraphics NX, CATIA V5, Rhinoceros, and AutoCAD.

Tomás Bernal Nicolás has a diverse educational background in the field of Industrial and Product Design. In 2003, they completed two CAD courses at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), specializing in AutoCAD and Rhinoceros. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Technic Engineering degree in Industrial and Product Design at the Polytechnic School of Alcoy (EPSA-UPV). Following this, they continued their education at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained another Technic Engineering degree in the same field of study. In 2015, they briefly attended a course on Mechanical Design and Manufacturing with CATIA V5, focusing on Industrial and Product Design.
