Aloysius Fung

Aloysius Fung has worked in various accounting roles since 2001. Aloysius began their career at Alderwoods Group Inc. as a Tax Accountant and Advanced Tax Accountant, where they prepared U.S. tax returns, capital assets tracking & tax depreciation schedules, and supervised junior tax accountants and co-op students. In 2004, they moved to First Resolution Management Corporation as an Assistant Controller. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at Ballard Power Systems as a Senior Corporate Accountant and Financial Accountant, Corporate Reporting. Aloysius then moved to ip.access as a Financial Accountant in 2012. In 2014, they joined Mettler-Toledo Safeline X-Ray as an Assistant Controller, where they prepared month-end close, monthly submission to head office, and ensured accuracy of overhead costs. Since 2022, they have been working at Cambridge Epigenetix as a Management Accountant and at CyanConnode as a Group Accountant, where they prepare monthly group consolidated accounts/board pack and reviews customers' contracts and prepares revenue accounting memos in accordance with IFRS 15.

Aloysius Fung has a long history of education, beginning with a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Simon Fraser University in 1996-2001, with a Joint Major in Accounting and Economics. Aloysius then obtained the ACCA in 2012, followed by the CGA from the Certified General Accountant of British Columbia in 2003-2006. Aloysius also obtained the CPA (CGA-BC) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2004 and the CPA (Delaware) in 2004.
