Jens Füllgrabe has a wealth of work experience in the field of genomics. Jens began their career in 2003 as a Bachelor-Student at the University of Heidelberg, followed by a Master Student role at the same institution. In 2009, they became a PhD Student at the Karolinska Institutet. In 2015, Jens moved to the University of Cambridge as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2017, they joined Cambridge Epigenetix as a Senior Research Scientist and Assay Development Scientist. In 2018, they were appointed Deputy Head of Genomics at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. In 2019, Jens returned to Cambridge Epigenetix as Associate Director of Assay Development and Team Leader Biomarker Discovery.
Jens Füllgrabe obtained a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from Heidelberg University between 2003 and 2006. Jens then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology at Heidelberg University, which they completed in 2009. Finally, Jens Füllgrabe earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from Karolinska Institutet in 2015.
