Laura Ruoff

Laura Ruoff, MD, is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving at Cambridge Health Alliance since January 2024 and Heywood Healthcare since December 2020, Laura previously worked at Contemporary Therapeutics, PC, where responsibilities included consultation, evaluation, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy as an Assistant Professor at Brown University. Additional experience includes positions as Medical Director at NFI Massachusetts, IRTP and Chief of the Adolescent Program at Bradley Hospital, where Laura led multidisciplinary teams and managed clinical programs. Earlier roles include Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Newport Hospital, where Laura established both inpatient and outpatient programs for diverse age groups. Educational credentials include an MD from Albany Medical College and specialized training at Brown University and Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School.
