Sara A. Snyder

Sara A. Snyder is an accomplished psychologist currently serving as an Instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School since October 2024. Additionally, Sara holds the position of Director of Research and Development for the CHA Asylum Program at Cambridge Health Alliance, where roles include overseeing research initiatives and collaborating with the Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research. Sara's experience also encompasses a wide range of clinical and research positions, including Trauma Psychology Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School's Victims of Violence Program, research fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital, and prior clinical internships focusing on PTSD and mental health within diverse settings. Sara earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, showcasing a strong background in both psychology and public health.
