Zev Schuman-Olivier is an accomplished professional in addiction psychiatry, currently serving as the Interim Medical Director of Outpatient Addictions, Director of Addiction Research, and Medical Director for Addictions at Cambridge Health Alliance since 2015. In addition, Zev holds the position of Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, contributing to clinical research and leadership in the field. As the Founding Center Director of the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, Zev is dedicated to integrating mindfulness into addiction treatment and promoting compassionate care. Zev's research focuses on developing technological platforms to improve medication adherence among individuals prescribed buprenorphine at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health at Dartmouth. With prior roles in prominent institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital and WestBridge Community Services, Zev's extensive experience is complemented by a strong educational background, including degrees from Tufts University and Harvard Medical School in Addiction Psychiatry.
