Jim Lefevre has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jim started their career in 2013, working in non-legal positions such as a rescue coordinator, bartender, and customer services representative for various companies. In 2018, they joined MLM Group as a Trainee Legal Counsel in the construction field.

In 2019, Jim took on the role of Assistant Legal Counsel for software at Cambridge Intelligence, where they managed a wide range of legal matters, including software licenses, escrow agreements, and legal research on software piracy and IP law. Jim also handled the legal debt collection process.

Jim then moved to Mills & Reeve in the same year, assuming the position of Fee Earner in the transactional construction team. In this role, they drafted and negotiated construction contracts and communicated with clients to understand their requirements. Jim managed their own matters, including the restoration of a grade II listed country house.

Jim returned to Cambridge Intelligence in 2020 as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal before transitioning to the role of Junior Legal Counsel in 2022.

Jim Lefevre completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with honors at Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied law from 2015 to 2017. Following this, they pursued further education at BPP Law School, where they obtained a Legal Practice Course (LPC) degree in Law from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at BPP Law School during the same time period. The field of study for their LLB and LLM degrees is not specified.
