Tan G Han(John)

Tan G Han (John) has a diverse range of work experiences spanning over two decades. Tan started their career as an Assistant Sales Manager at Samsung Electronics in 1996 and worked there until 2000. Tan then moved on to Giesecke+Devrient, where they held the positions of Regional Sales Manager and later Country Manager for Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Tan worked in this role from 2000 to 2004.

In 2004, they joined DCM Technologies Pte Ltd as a Director and worked there until 2005. Tan then took on the role of Sales Director (SEA) at SAGEMCOM from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they served as the Regional Sales Director (SEA & Oceania) at Global IP Solutions from 2007 to 2010, during which time the company was acquired by Google.

From 2010 to 2015, Tan G Han worked as a Director at PT Inspirasi Sahabat Mandiri. Tan then joined SmartBeings Inc as the Vice President of Business Development from 2019 to 2020, where they contributed to the development of the WooHoo™ voice AI assistant for enterprises.

In 2020, they took on the role of Director of Sales and Business Development at AFPI, a company focused on leveraging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the healthcare industry. Currently, Tan G Han is the Regional Manager - APAC at Cambridge Intelligence, where they lead operations in the Asia-Pacific region and helps organizations uncover hidden threats through data visualization tools.

John Tan G Han has a diverse education history. Tan obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at Murdoch University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computing & Information Systems from the University of London. Earlier in their education, John completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

In addition to their formal education, John has obtained several certifications. Tan received the Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure certification from Google in March 2022. In February 2022, they obtained the Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals certification from the same institution. Tan also holds the Google Cloud Essentials certification, received in January 2022. Furthermore, John obtained the Angular-Reactjs-Vuejs-Quickstart & Comparison certification from Udemy in June 2021 and the Introduction to Neo4j 4.0 certification from Neo4j in January 2021. Prior to that, they completed the Applied Artificial Intelligence certification offered by AI Singapore in April 2020. In December 2019, John successfully completed the Machine Learning course offered by Stanford University.
