Amanda (Askew) Primeaux, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amanda started their career as a Sales Associate at ANN INC. in 2011 and worked there until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience in customer service and sales.

In 2013, Amanda took on multiple positions at the UVA Environmental Science Department. As a Student Research Analyst, they conducted tests and data analysis to evaluate goals set by the EPA for the Chesapeake Bay watershed cleanup. Amanda also researched farming and land development practices. Additionally, Amanda worked as an Independent Researcher, managing and updating a website dedicated to educating the public about coastal storms and their impacts.

In 2013, Amanda also had an internship at WCAV-TV as a Meteorology Intern. Here, they interpreted forecast models, developed weather segments, updated online weather segments, and monitored radar systems during severe weather events.

In 2014, Amanda joined Better Business Challenge as a Concierge, where they provided support and assistance to participants.

From 2014 to 2015, Amanda worked as a Senior Proposal Writer at ACADEMI, contributing their expertise in proposal development.

Since 2015, Amanda has been associated with Cambridge International Systems, Inc. Initially, they served as a Proposal Manager, leading the development of proposals. Later, they transitioned into the role of Program Manager Analyst, providing program management support and serving as a Task Order Project Manager. Recently, they were promoted to Deputy General Manager Operations, where they oversee the operations of the company.

Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated their proficiency in project management, program management, proposal development, data analysis, and research. Amanda is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Amanda (Askew) Primeaux, PMP obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Floyd E Kellam High School from 2006 to 2010. Amanda also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in April 2019.
