Ben Clarke PhD PCC has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Ben has worked as the Chief People Officer at Challenging Panoramas, where they provided fractional services to small and mid-sized businesses in Canada, the UK, and the Caribbean. Additionally, they developed an MBA-level program called Leader Transformation that focused on people leadership.

Ben also served as the Head of Leader Development at Cambridge Management Consulting, where they worked with various clients, including a major retail organization, a leading biotech organization, a specialist investment practice, and a successful tech startup. Ben was also responsible for managing the partnership between Symend and Cambridge MC.

In their role as the Chief People Officer at Deltec, a private bank in The Bahamas, Ben advised the CEO on people matters and implemented organizational changes. Ben has also worked as an Executive Coach and Director of Coaching at Level 52 Inc., a leadership development organization based in Calgary. Ben has worked with senior executive clients, including a multinational company with $25 billion annual revenue, where they focused on transforming leadership and company culture.

Prior to their work in coaching and leadership development, Ben had technical roles in the oil and gas industry. Ben worked as a Staff Geologist at CNOOC International, where they were involved in high-profile exploration projects worldwide. Ben also served as a Senior Geologist at Marathon Oil Company, where they led a team in mapping the Mirawa oil discovery in Iraq and enlarging oil discoveries in Kurdistan. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Senior Explorationist at Rocksource and as a Project Manager Geoscience at EnQuest PLC, where they introduced new technology and managed geological exploration and drilling operations.

Before transitioning into the oil and gas industry, Ben worked as the Exploration Manager at Excel Expro, where they built and managed a team to oversee oil exploration in the offshore areas of Norway.

Ben Clarke earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology from The University of Edinburgh, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996. Ben later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Earth Science from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. In 2016, Ben Clarke enrolled in The Coach Training Institute and successfully completed the requirements to become a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Ben furthered their coaching expertise by obtaining a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation in March 2019. In addition to their educational accomplishments, Ben Clarke also holds certifications in Advanced Wilderness & Remote First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED, which they obtained from the Canadian Red Cross in May 2016.
