Debbie Bonilla

Debbie Bonilla has extensive experience in family engagement and equity initiatives, currently serving as a Family Engagement Specialist at Cambridge Public Schools since February 2011, with additional roles including Building Equity Bridges Movement Support Team member and Homeless Service Outreach Worker. Since September 2020, Debbie has co-founded Canopy Equity Training, LLC, and has held leadership positions as Co-Founder and President of Equity Roadmap, Friday Night Hype, and as a Liaison for the Cambridge Families of Color Coalition since March 2020. Additionally, Debbie established The Spot Cambridge in January 2017 and contributed to the Department of Human Services as a Baby U Family Care Worker from January 2010 to February 2020. Previous experience includes program coordination at Amigos School within Cambridge Public Schools from January 2001 to May 2006. Debbie Bonilla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management with a focus on Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, complemented by studies at Newbury College.
