Emily Bryan

Emily Bryan is the PK-12 Director of ELA/Literacy at Cambridge Public Schools since July 2021, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Principal at Thomas J. Kenny Elementary School within Boston Public Schools from 2008 to July 2021. Additional positions within Boston Public Schools include Principal Fellow at the Lynch Leadership Academy and Grade 6 English Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher. Emily also served as a Masters Teaching Fellow and Apprenticeship Teacher at Citizen Schools, where significant contributions included being a founding member of a flagship Expanded Learning Time partnership model, which has been replicated nationally, as well as delivering a college pathways curriculum and math remediation instruction. Emily's educational background includes a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Journalism from Emerson College, along with studies at Boston College Lynch School.
