Emily Martin

Emily Martin is a dedicated Library Media Technician at Cambridge Public Schools since November 2021, with prior experience as a Substitute Teacher at Boston Public Schools. Emily has held various educational roles, including 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Boston Teachers Union K-8 Pilot School and school librarian positions across grade levels. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Emily served as an Educational Program Designer and a Learning Community Designer, managing projects that developed educational tools and activities for K-12 settings. Emily’s experience also includes coordinating programs for undergraduate students and engaging in sustainable agricultural practices at Hudson Valley Seed Library and Clif Bar & Company. Emily holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Boston University.
