Heather Strube

Head Of School at Cambridge School

Heather Strube has a diverse work experience spanning from 1997 to the present. Heather started their career as a Middle & High School English Language and Literature Teacher at Colegio de San Salvador in 1997. Later, in 2003, they joined Johns Hopkins University as an Assistant Director of Residential Life and worked there until 2010. In 2010, Heather became an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Baltimore City Community College, where they worked until 2012. Simultaneously, in 2011, they also took up the role of Assistant ESOL Instructional Specialist at Community College of Baltimore County until 2012. From 2012 onward, Heather has been associated with Cambridge School, where they started as an Assistant Head of School and Humanities Teacher. Currently, they hold the position of Head of School. In addition to their career in education, Heather also worked as an Academic Communication Instructor at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School from 2015 to 2020.

Heather Strube is currently a PhD student in Instructional Leadership at Notre Dame of Maryland University, a program they have been enrolled in since 2017 and is expected to complete in 2024. Before pursuing their doctoral degree, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Notre Dame of Maryland University, which they completed in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Liberty University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
