Tommy Fang

Tommy Fang's work experience began in 2014 as a Software Engineer at the Rensselaer Center for Open Source, where they managed a team and developed a custom game engine. In 2015, they worked as an Engineer Intern at Transformational Security LLC, creating a full stack web application. From 2016 to 2017, Tommy worked as a Codecademy Advisor at ryzac inc., teaching programming fundamentals to learners. In 2018, they were a Graduate Student at Rensselaer IDEA, where they developed a software toolkit for their MS Thesis. Later that year, Tommy worked as a Software Developer at the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group. In 2019, they worked as a React Developer at Quantime and as a Senior Field Engineer at Cambridge Semantics Inc., where they generated and delivered data products and led a team for project migration workflows.

Tommy Fang completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Games, Simulation Arts, and Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tommy pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institute.
