Amelia Armour

Amelia Armour has extensive work experience in the technology industry, serving in various leadership roles for multiple companies. Amelia started their career at Amadeus Capital Partners in 2009, where they are currently involved in investing the Amadeus IV Early Stage Fund. Amelia'srole focuses on providing Seed through Series A financing to UK technology companies in the fields of Big Data analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Digital Healthcare, Internet of Things, Low-power computing, Machine-to-Machine communications, and Medical Technology.

In 2015, Amelia became a Board Director at Cambridge Touch Technologies (CTT), a spin-out from the University of Cambridge, specializing in 3D Multi-Touch technologies. At CTT, they support OEM and supply chain customers with IP, know-how, and advanced system architectures.

Since 2016, Amelia has held various positions as a Board Observer for several companies. These include Graphcore, a company developing a seamless development framework and IPU accelerators for machine intelligence applications; PROWLER.io, focused on developing autonomous decision-making systems using probabilistic methods in machine learning and game theory; and SLAMcore Limited, which specializes in breakthrough localization and mapping solutions using sensor fusion and advancements in cameras and processors.

In 2019, Amelia took on multiple Board Director roles. Amelia joined Riverlane, a research-led start-up developing software and algorithms for quantum computers, as well as Immense, a company dedicated to bringing the discovery of materials and drugs into a new computational era. Amelia also became a Board Director at Xampla, a University of Cambridge spin-out that specializes in natural alternatives to plastics.

Amelia's most recent role, starting in 2020, is as a Board Director at Sprout.ai. The company has developed an advanced claims and fraud management plug-in, utilizing Artificial Intelligence.
