John Traynor

John Traynor is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in wealth management and investment strategy. Currently serving as President of Cambridge Trust Wealth Management of Connecticut since June 2022, John previously held the title of Chief Investment Officer at Peoples United Bank from June 2011 to June 2022. His earlier roles include Director of Investment Strategy at Hawthorn, CIO/Partner at Thorson Traynor, and VP of Investments at Shawmut. John Traynor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Villanova University between 1978 and 1982.
