Gary Howsam

Gary Howsam has a range of experience in the healthcare field, starting in 2009 as a GP Partner at New Queen Street Surgery. Gary then served as a GP Partner at Octagon Medical Practice from 2019 until 2021. In 2016, they became the Clinical Chair at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG, a role they held until 2022. Simultaneously, they were appointed as the Vice Chair (External Affairs) at the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2019 and will continue until 2022. More recently, in 2021, they joined Nene Valley Hodgson Medical Practice as a General Practitioner. Additionally, they have a FDS RCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons) degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, London, which they earned in 1998, and an MRCS (Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons) degree which they obtained in 2003. Furthermore, they hold a FRCGP (Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners) degree and an MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners) degree, both acquired from the Royal College of General Practitioners, with the former obtained in 2013 and the latter in 2008.
