Philippa Brice

Philippa Brice's work experience includes their current role as the Head of Research & Development at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS), where they lead a team and oversees a research project portfolio. Previously, they worked at the PHG Foundation, where they held various roles such as Deputy Director, External Affairs Director, and Head of Knowledge and Communications. Philippa also served as Deputy Chair at Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CIC and as a Trustee at Headway Cambridgeshire and ACTION ON PRE-ECLAMPSIA LIMITED. Additionally, they worked as a Science Policy and Dissemination Manager at the Cambridge Genetics Knowledge Park and as a Biomedical Intelligence Officer at De Novo Pharmaceuticals. Philippa started their career as a PhD student at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology.

Philippa Brice attended Stockport Grammar School from 1991 to 1993, where they focused on science and maths. Philippa then went on to study at the University of Cambridge from 1994 to 2001, obtaining a PhD and MA in Natural Sciences, with a specialization in Pathology. Their academic achievements at Cambridge include graduating with a First class degree.
