Sophie Ives has a diverse work experience spanning several healthcare organizations. Their most recent role is as the Head of Resilience at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) since 2023. Prior to this, they held several positions at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG, including Senior Operations/System Resilience Lead from 2021 to 2023 and Integrated Discharge Lead from 2019 to 2021. Before joining Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG, Sophie served as the SAFER Patient Flow Lead at NWAngliaFT from 2018 to 2019. In 2016, they worked at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, where they held various positions, including Urgent Care Service Manager, Interim Assistant General Manager, and Operational Manager. Sophie also has experience in Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust as a Specialist Physiotherapist/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Co-Ordinator from 2000 to 2016, as well as roles at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Southampton NHS FT earlier in their career.

Sophie Ives attended the University of Brighton from 1991 to 1994. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy and successfully completed their studies, earning a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy.
