Benjamin Hugues

Benjamin Hugues is an experienced fund manager and investment professional with a focus on renewable energy in Africa. Currently serving as the Fund Manager for the REPP fund at Camco since September 2012, Benjamin oversees all aspects of fund management, including origination, portfolio management, investor relations, and fundraising. Prior roles at Camco include Investment Director and Investment Manager, where significant contributions were made to the origination and structuring of numerous transactions across various energy technologies. Benjamin has also served on the boards of several organizations, including Virunga Power and PowerGen Renewable Energy, and has experience in finance from Standard Chartered Bank and engineering from Terex. Benjamin holds an MBA in Finance from London Business School and degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques.
