Amy Gibney

Amy Gibney has a diverse work experience in the engineering and maintenance field. Amy is currently working as a Lead Process Engineering Technologist at Cameco Corporation since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at Votorantim Cimentos - St Marys Cement from May 2021 to March 2022.

Amy also has experience working at Flex-N-Gate as an Engineering Technologist (Maintenance) from August 2018 to May 2021, and as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator (Engineering) from May 2017 to August 2018.

In addition, they served as the Chair at Durham College from November 2018 to November 2020. Earlier in their career, Amy worked as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Mechanical Engineering Technician, Summer Co-op at Ontario Power Generation in May 2015.

Amy Gibney earned an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Durham College from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they continued their education at Ontario Tech University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
