Steven Kahovec

Steven Kahovec is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience at Cameco Corporation since August 2008, currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previous roles at Cameco include Manager and Supervisor of Financial Reporting, Acting Manager of Operations Accounting, and Senior Accountant for the McArthur River Operations. Additional expertise was gained through the role of Internal Auditor, providing assurance and advisory services to enhance governance and accountability. Prior to Cameco, Steven worked as a Manager at the Provincial Auditor Saskatchewan, overseeing the management of public funds. Steven holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Chartered Accountant School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
