Marina also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Genova, which they received from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Marina also holds several certifications in the field of machine learning. Marina completed courses such as "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Machine Learning: Regression," and "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" through the online platform Coursera, earning certifications in May 2018, July 2016, and May 2016 respectively.
