Matteo Santoro

Matteo Santoro's work experience begins in 2005 when they worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at The University of British Columbia. From 2007 to 2011, they were an Assegnista di Ricerca at Universitá degli Studi di Genova, where they focused on the development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms for medical imaging analysis. In 2011, they held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they developed algorithms for knowledge representation in visual contexts. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, contributing to the development of an open-source software library for machine learning. In 2013, Matteo Santoro founded CAMELOT biomedical systems S.r.l., where they served as the CEO until an unspecified date. Matteo played a significant role in the company's growth and success, securing funding and participating in various national and international development projects. In 2017, they joined L.I.F.E. Italia as the CTO, responsible for the development of wearable devices and innovative communication systems. Matteo'sexpertise in life sciences and artificial intelligence made him an ideal candidate for this role. Matteo Santoro's tenure at L.I.F.E. Italia ended in December 2019.

Matteo Santoro completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1998 to 2003, they attended Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, where they earned their Laurea Magistrale degree in Scienze fisiche. Afterward, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Dottorato di ricerca degree in Scienze Computazionali ed Informatiche.
