Kelsey Young has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Kelsey joined Chief in 2020 as a Member, where they are part of a private network focused on empowering women in leadership positions. From 2018 to 2020, Kelsey served as the Vice President of Strategy at Camelot Illinois. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Business Planning at the same company from 2018 to 2020. Kelsey spent a significant portion of their career at Alvarez & Marsal, starting in 2009 as a Director. Their responsibilities there included leading process and organization re-design, merger integration, carve-outs, and shared services implementations across various industries. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, Kelsey worked as an English Teaching Assistant at the French Department of Education from 2008 to 2009. Kelsey also gained experience in the finance sector as an Investment Operations Intern at Russell Investments from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Kelsey interned at Alvarez & Marsal in 2006, where they worked with the Bankruptcy Restructuring group and the Real Estate Consulting group, gaining experience in financial analysis and project integration.

Kelsey Young has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business, French, and Politics from the University of Puget Sound. Kelsey also attended the Institute for the International Education of Students in 2006, where they studied Politics, Economics, and French. Before attending university, Kelsey graduated from Columbine High School in 2004.
