Jim van Slyke

Jim Van Slyke currently serves as Vice President and Head of IT at Cameron Ashley Building Products, leading business strategy enablement and cybersecurity initiatives across over 65 North American facilities. Previously, Jim held the position of CIO for Oshkosh Corporation's $1B Commercial Division, where responsibilities included defining digital transformation strategies and managing a $16M budget for multiple facilities. Jim's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Caterpillar Inc., where contributions to digital manufacturing, IoT implementation, and enterprise-wide IT strategy were significant. With a solid educational foundation from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in Decision Sciences, Jim has consistently driven value delivery and operational efficiency throughout a diverse career in IT management and consulting.
