Marvin Joi Pedernal has had an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Marvin Joi started their career at Angeles University Foundation in 1999 as the Chairperson of the Accountancy Department, where they served until 2007. Marvin Joi then joined PwC as a Manager in December 2007, staying with the company until 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to Cameron Development Corporation, initially working as a Controller until 2016. From 2017 onwards, they assumed the role of Director of Financial Reporting & Compliance at the same company.
Marvin Joi Pedernal completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Angeles University Foundation from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) from the University of the Assumption between 1994 and 1998.
