Alan Neria

Alan Neria is the current Associate at Camino Financial. Alan has also worked as the Managing Director, Credit Risk and Portfolio at Strategic Financial Solutions NY from November 2020 to December 2021. There, they developed efficient lending platforms by partnering with Data Sciences and Lending Operations.

Before that, Alan was the Co-Founder & CEO of PlutoCard Inc. from September 2019 to December 2020. There, they focused on consumer credit A.I.-based underwriting with a focus on alternative data and behavioral models.

From August 2014 to September 2019, Alan worked as the Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase & Co. There, they were the Global Head of Credit Rating Group. Prior to that, Alan worked as a Sr Consultant for Protiviti Inc. from May 2012 to August 2014. Alan also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow for Harvard University from January 2012 to April 2012. Lastly, Alan was a Research Associate for Goldman Sachs from January 2009 to December 2012.

Alan Neria earned their M.Sc. in Controls & System Dynamics from Villanova University and their Ph.D. in Mathematics and Economics from Virginia Tech.

Their manager is Sean Salas, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Praveen Varma - Chief Risk Officer, Eric Smeby - VP, Engineering, and Michael Chamberlayne - CFO.
