Aaron Farmer

Mr. Aaron Farmer is an architect with OMNIPLAN in Dallas, Texas. Aaron’s professional work is focused on programming, planning and design for the arts, education, civic and community services, and worship. Several of his projects have received design awards.

Aaron obtained his Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980, where he served on the Alumni Association Board for nine years, and one term as President. He has practiced as an architect in Dallas since 1980.

Aaron married Carolyn in 1991. Though originally from Chicago, Carolyn is a Baylor University graduate, and a long-time employee of Doctor’s Hospital at White Rock Lake, serving as House Supervisor and more recently as Charge Nurse for the Day Surgery Center. Aaron and Carolyn share life long interest in music, and both have been lifelong choir members. Aaron and Carolyn are members at Northwest Bible Church, where he served as a handbell director for almost fifteen years, as choir director for two years, and is currently a bible class teacher.

In addition to music, both loves to cook-Carolyn has worked professionally in catering and cake baking. Both love to travel and Aaron loves to spend hours in the garden.

Mr. Farmer became Board Chair in April 2017.
