Stephen Cantu has extensive experience as a production engineer in the oil and gas industry. Stephen has worked for multiple companies and has covered various regions and plays.

At Camino Natural Resources, Stephen currently holds the role of Sr. Production Engineer. Stephen oversees 200 flowing/gas lift wells across Canadian, Grady, and Stephens counties in the Merge & SCOOP plays. Stephen'smain responsibilities include production management, workovers, and gas lift troubleshooting.

Prior to their current role, Stephen worked at Whiting Petroleum Corporation. As a Production Engineer, they were responsible for 50 ESP wells, 40 gas lift wells, and 100 rod pump wells in Williams county in the Bakken play. Stephen'stasks included production management, ESP settings optimization, workovers, and gas lift troubleshooting. Stephen also held the position of Production/Facilities Engineer at the same company, where they managed 250 gas lift wells and 60 rod pump wells in Weld county in the DJ Basin. Stephen'sduties involved production management, workovers, and facility management.

Before joining Whiting Petroleum Corporation, Stephen worked at Marathon Oil Corporation. As a Production Engineer, they handled 250 gas lift wells and 130 rod pump wells in Karnes, Gonzales, and DeWitt counties in the Eagle Ford play. Stephen'smain responsibilities included production management and workovers. Stephen also worked as a Production Engineer for the company in Dunn, McKenzie, and Mountrail counties in the Bakken play, where they managed 150 rod pump wells and 50 ESP wells. Again, their main tasks were production management and workovers.
