Philippa Girling serves as Chair and CEO at Camp Chateau since April 2022 and is a founding member of the organization. In addition to this role, Philippa is a member of the Advisory Council at CrossCountry Consulting, starting in October 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Chief Impact Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Varo Bank, and EVP, Chief Risk Officer at Investors Bank. Philippa has also held significant roles within Capital One as the Commercial Business Chief Risk Officer, and at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director of Operational Risk. Philippa's expertise spans financial services, banking, international law, regulatory compliance, and operational risk, complemented by a PhD in Global Affairs from Rutgers University - Newark and various degrees in law and international business. Admission to the New York Bar occurred in 2007.
