Melissa Webber has extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector. Melissa currently holds the position of Senior Director of Development at Camp Fire Alaska since March 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Development from February 2021 to March 2022 and as the Annual Giving Manager from June 2019 to February 2021. Before joining Camp Fire Alaska, Melissa worked as the Annual Giving Manager at Catholic Social Services from November 2017 to June 2019. Melissa also held the position of Marketing & Outreach Manager at Bean's Cafe from September 2015 to November 2017. Melissa's early work experience includes serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Member and Communications Specialist at the Food Bank of Alaska from November 2014 to November 2015, where they were responsible for managing social media channels and coordinating website redevelopment.

Camp Fire Alaska is a 501(c)3 non-profit youth development agency giving children opportunities to discover the best in themselves and others in a fun, safe, learning environment. Annually, more than 5,000 youth are served through 4 programs: 1. Before and after school programs 2. Summer programs, day camp and overnight camp 3. Community Centers 4.
