Camp Director at Camp Harbor View

Jillian Martin is the camp administrator at Camp Harbor View. Jillian has previous experience working as a social work intern at Shriners Hospitals for Children and The Protestant Guild for Human Services. At Shriners Hospitals for Children, Jillian assessed the psychosocial needs of families who were seen in the outpatient clinic or admitted to the acute unit following a child’s serious burn injury. Jillian collaborated with team members, including nurses, psychiatrists, doctors and physical, occupational, and child life specialists to develop and implement plans for treatment and discharge. Jillian also communicated with outside agencies and resources to ensure continuity of care and safe discharge.

At The Protestant Guild for Human Services, Jillian provided weekly individual therapy for students with special needs, counseled students as needed, and co-led groups. Jillian documented client’s behaviors and interventions utilized, provided crisis intervention as needed, and supported teachers and staff within classrooms and at residences.

Jillian Martin has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Simmons University. Jillian also has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (Magazine) from Boston University. Jillian has a High School Diploma from Woburn Memorial High School. Jillian has certification from American Red Cross in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Jillian is also certified from American Red Cross in First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Lastly, they are certified from MA Board of Registration of Social Workers as a Licensed Certified Social Worker.
