Rachel La Fleur has extensive work experience as a Registered Nurse. Rachel began their nursing career at Spectrum Health in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Rachel then worked at Children's Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado Hospital as a Registered Nurse from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Rachel worked at Fusion Medical Staffing as a Registered Nurse. Rachel then interned as a Medical Programming Intern at Samaritan's Purse in 2019. In 2020, Rachel worked at CAMP-of-the-WOODS as the Health Director and later joined Mercy Health as a Registered Nurse until 2023. Rachel currently works at Spectrum Health as a Registered Nurse since 2020.
Rachel La Fleur has a diverse educational background. Rachel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish from Wheaton College in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Grand Valley State University, which they completed in 2008. In 2012, Rachel attended the University of Colorado Denver, where they obtained a Certificate in Global Public Health, focusing on the field of study global public health. Most recently, Rachel earned a Master's degree in Humanitarian and Disaster Leadership from Wheaton College in 2019.

For over 100 years, CAMP-of-the-WOODS has provided an environment where families, individuals and groups can focus on Jesus Christ. With a rich tradition of service and excellence, CAMP-of-the-WOODS strives to build up the body of Christ through its five ministry arms: Summer Ministry, Conference Season, Camp Tapawingo, LIFT Discipleship and the Missions Program.
