Justin Bennett

Justin comes to Rockmont after years of professional experience in outdoor education, both domestic and abroad. He brings a wealth of programming knowledge to their team, and they are excited for the ways his vision will enhance both the in camp programming and their Adventure Tripping program. He loves how summer camp can draw out unique gifts in campers and staff, helping them to discover their true potential, and the enduring friendships that are formed along the way.

Justin is an avid climber and paddler, spending most of his free time on the rocks or the rivers in the area. He is well known around camp for being the “King of the Water Wall,” as he and Austin set the routes and he was the first to be able to climb up the hardest routes on the wall. He and his wife Elizabeth, an RN, are excited to join the team at Rockmont full-time, and are looking forward to exploring all that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.
