Director Of Operations at Camp Sewataro

Emily Niinimaki has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in 2005. Emily worked in an after school program, enhancing the curriculum and implementing service learning projects.

In 2005, they also started working at YMCA Camp Coniston as the Girls Camp Director, where they supervised a young staff, responded to emergency situations, and communicated with parents.

In 2007, Emily joined Camp Sewataro as an Assistant Director. Emily worked with a team to manage the summer day camp, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Emily also collaborated with the Human Resources team for hiring, training, and evaluation procedures. Eventually, they were promoted to the position of Director of Operations at Camp Sewataro, where they co-led a team to efficiently run the camp and implemented operational policies.

Emily Niinimaki's work experience demonstrates their expertise in managing and operating summer camps, developing operational policies, and working with staff, parents, and students.

Emily Niinimaki attended Wahconah Regional High School from 1995 to 1999. Emily then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as Communications, at Keene State College from 1999 to 2003.
