Nancy Zimmerman has a strong background in Jewish life and culture. Nancy served as the Director of Jewish Life and Culture at the Mandel Jewish Community Center starting in 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Special Projects Director at the Siegal College of Judaic Studies from 2009 to 2013.
Nancy Zimmerman pursued their education with great dedication and passion. Nancy first attended the University of Cincinnati from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Judaic Studies. Nancy then continued their academic journey at the Laura and Alvin Siegal College of Judaic Studies from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Jewish Education. Nancy focused their studies primarily on Judaic Studies throughout their educational career, showcasing their strong interest and commitment to this field.

Mandel JCC (The J) is a non-profit community center in Northeast Ohio with a large, state-of-the-art fitness facility, 5-Star Ohio rated early childhood education, summer J-Day and overnight Camp Wise youth camps, and year-round cultural arts and Jewish programming and events for all ages. Membership is open to all, regardless of religion, age, race, or gender identity. Our mission is to build, connect, and strengthen the Jewish and greater Cleveland communities through exceptional life-long programs and services that reflect the richness of Jewish life and enhances physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being. We receive funding from Jewish Federation of Cleveland, grants, donations and other public funding sources and has been serving the greater Cleveland community since 1948.
