Gabriel Golczer-Gatti has been in the professional world since 2008, when they began working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Universidad Simón Bolívar. From 2009-2011, they were a Member of the Board at Asociacion de Egresados de la USB, where they wrote and organized general meeting minutes and board of directors meeting minutes, presided general meetings, and led the committee that updated the constitution of the organization. In 2012, they began working as a Research Assistant at Universidad Simón Bolívar, as well as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Tufts University. From 2018-2020, they worked as a Computational Biologist at Massachusetts General Hospital Research Institute and a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Currently, they are a Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist at CAMP4 Therapeutics.
Gabriel Golczer-Gatti has an extensive educational background. Gabriel obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Evolutionary Biology, Population Genomics from Tufts University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Evolutionary Biology, Phylogenetics from Universidad Simón Bolívar in 2011 and a Management and Leadership Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution in 2011. Gabriel also earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Universidad Simón Bolívar in 2008. Additionally, Gabriel has obtained several certifications, including The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn in 2022, Body Language for Leaders from LinkedIn in 2018, and various courses from Coursera such as Regression Models, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, Statistical Inference, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from 2016.
