Dirk Baker

Dirk Baker serves as the Global Science Program Manager and Senior Scientist at Campbell Scientific, Inc. since August 2011, with previous roles as an Application Scientist and Sales and Application Engineer. Prior to this, Dirk worked as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where research was continued from Washington University in St. Louis, where Dirk held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate focused on the measurement and modeling of wind and seed dispersal in varied landscapes. Earlier experience includes working as a Weed Coordinator for The Nature Conservancy, managing cooperative weed management activities in Colorado. Dirk earned a Ph.D. in invasive weeds from Colorado State University between 2002 and 2007.
