Jim Freer

Jim Freer has extensive work experience in the field of procurement and purchasing. Jim most recently held the position of Head of Purchasing at Campbells Prime Meat Limited since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Procurement Manager at Devro from 2009 to 2018. From 2002 to 2008, Jim was employed at Scottish and Newcastle as a Category Manager - Group Procurement, where they managed the procurement of packaging for breweries in multiple countries. Before that, they held purchasing management roles at Harvest Freshcuts, Hazlewood Foods, and Albert Fisher Group. Jim began their career as a Quality Assurance Technician at Bluecrest Foods in 1991.

Jim Freer attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1988 to 1992, where they studied food technology. Jim also attended the same university from 1988 to 1991, although the field of study for this period is not specified.
