Erik Hallqvist

Erik Hallqvist has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Erik started their career at Lingoport as a Globalization Software Engineer, where they worked on Lingoport's internationalization software, Globalyzer. Their responsibilities included debugging, QA, implementing features, researching and adding scan patterns, updating online help pages, and rewriting tutorials. Erik also worked on multiple projects, performing tasks such as detecting embedded text strings, generalizing locale-sensitive methods, verifying functionality, and bug fixing.

Erik then joined TeneoTalent as a Lead Developer, where they led the planning and development of the underlying framework for internal and external back-end software. Erik was responsible for deploys, project coordination, and API integrations using technologies like SOAP and REST.

After that, Erik worked at SparkFun Electronics as a QA Analyst/Software Test Developer. Erik led the Software QA effort to ensure the functionality of the website and internal ERP tools. Erik set up the QA process, created automatic test suites and individual test cases. Erik utilized tools like Jenkins, PHPUnit, PhantomJS, and CasperJS for effective automated test coverage.

Currently, Erik is working at CampMinder as a QA Engineer, starting in 2019.

Erik Hallqvist completed their Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Wyoming Community College from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Wyoming from 2003 to 2006.
