Hugo van Donselaar

Hugo van Donselaar has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Hugo started their career at L.S.C. Alecto as a Team Coach from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they simultaneously worked as a Team Coach at HOC-Gazellen Combinatie HGC and pursued their studies in Sport, Management, and Entrepreneurship at UvA en HvA. In 2012, they also took up a management role at Kadish Foundation. In 2014, they gained experience as a Trainer at the Zambian Hockey Association and undertook an Internship at AllUnited B.V. Hugo then worked as an Accountmanager at AllUnited B.V. from 2015 to 2016, where they supported and educated users from different sports clubs. Hugo completed their Thesis Internship at Rabobank in 2016. In the same year, they became the CEO of Campspace.com, a platform that offers unique outdoor experiences. Lastly, in 2020, they co-founded Staylocal.nu, a platform that promotes local travel within the Netherlands. Hugo demonstrates a strong passion for outdoor living, entrepreneurship, and sports.

Hugo van Donselaar's education history begins in 2010 when they received training as a Jeugd Hockey Trainer from the Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond. Hugo then attended the Bonaventuracollege in Leiden from 2002 to 2009, where they pursued a VWO degree with a focus on Economie & Maatschappij, with a choice of philosophy as an elective.

In 2011, Hugo enrolled at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports, Management, and Entrepreneurship.

Hugo continued to enhance their skills in the field of hockey training by obtaining a Hockey Trainer 3 certification from the Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond in 2014.

Most recently, in 2021, Hugo participated in the Tourism and Climate Change verified learner track at Wageningen University & Research.
