Cory Skowronek has a diverse background in software development, with their most recent position as a Sr. Software Developer at Campspot since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Gorilla Group as a Sr. Java Developer from March 2020 to April 2021. During their time at Gorilla Group, Cory created internal training programs for developers to learn and obtain certifications for Mulesoft and Salesforce platforms. Cory also worked with product owners at Bazaarvoice to refactor, update, and establish a regular release cadence for their official Salesforce plugin. Additionally, Cory played a key role in creating system, functional, and integration architectures for the development of a proprietary Salesforce B2C Accelerator.
Before joining Gorilla Group, Cory was employed at Moxie Group. Cory held the position of Senior Software Engineer from January 2018 to March 2020 and Software Engineer from April 2013 to January 2018. At Moxie Group, they developed a cloud-based, distributed bioinformatics platform using Java technologies such as OSGi Microservices, ActiveMQ, and Hadoop. Cory also designed data models and back-end functionality for facilitating project sharing, commenting, notifications, and deep-linking in genomics research projects. Cory implemented configurable genomics data pipeline components and visualizations as well.

Cory Skowronek attended Eastern Michigan University from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, they attended Michigan Technological University and pursued a degree in Physics. In addition to their education, Cory has obtained certifications such as Mulesoft Certified Developer - Level 1 from MuleSoft in January 2021 and Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer from Salesforce in August 2020.
