Wes Whitney

Wes Whitney has over five years of work experience in software engineering and operations support. Wes started their career in 2015 as a Software Engineer at Sirvo, where they developed web applications with React.js and implemented features. In the same year, they also worked as a Technical Admissions Officer at Galvanize Inc. In 2016, they joined Sovrn Holdings, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed on the main publisher facing application and contributed to the common components library based off of MUI. Wes also worked as a Software Development Engineer In Test and an Operations Support Engineer at Sovrn Holdings, Inc. Their most recent role was at Campspot, where they worked as a Software Engineer II from 2022. During their tenure, they developed features for the consumer facing application independently and collaboratively, implemented an Angular frontend feature for adding affiliate ads to the home page, and implemented a Liquibase postgres data migration pipeline in the CI/CD pipeline.

Wes Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, General from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2000 to 2005. In 2014 and 2015, they attended Galvanize Inc for Web Development. In 2019, they obtained an Application Security and Secure Coding Training course in Node.JS certificate from Codebashing. In 2017, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae (CSM\u00ae) certificate from BadgeCert.
