Michael Barer

Michael Barer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael is currently serving as the VP of Business Development at Campus Energy Partners since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director at Cloake Hill Infrastructure Management Ltd. starting from April 2018.

Before joining Cloake Hill, Michael worked at Veresen Inc. where they held the position of Financial Analysis Director from April 2015 to October 2017. Michael also served as the Manager of Financial Analysis at Veresen Inc. from June 2010 to March 2015.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Manager of GHG Offset Marketing at Bluesource from January 2009 to April 2010. Michael also served as an Analyst at Creststreet Capital Corporation from January 2005 to December 2008.

Michael's work experience also includes a brief role as an Associate at National Bank Financial in 2004. Michael started their career with an Investment Management Internship at the Investment Management Division at Alberta Revenue from June 2003 to August 2003.

Michael Barer attended the University of Alberta from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Finance.
