Béatrice Khaiat

Béatrice Khaiat has been the Executive Director of Campus France, the French national agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility since July 2015.

She has been reappointed Executive Director of Campus France in 2019.

Mrs. Khaiat, who prior to her appointment was Deputy Director of Campus France, contributed to the creation of EduFrance which she also previously headed. From 2007 to 2009, she was Deputy Secretary general of the French Presidency of the European Union. She has also occupied key positions in ministers’ private offices including the former Ministers of Education, Claude Allègre and Jack Lang (1997-2000), and the former Prime Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault (2012-2014).

Béatrice Khaiat holds degrees from ESCP-Europe, Sciences-Po and Johns Hopkins University.

Béatrice KHAIAT was appointed Chevalier in the Order of Legion d’Honneur in 2015 and Officer in the National Order of Merit in 2019.
