Liz Gross, Ph.D., is the Founder and CEO of Campus Sonar since October 2017, leading efforts to assist higher education leadership teams with research-led transformation through online conversation insights and social listening data. With extensive experience in social media strategy and market research, Liz has served as a Workshop Facilitator and Conference Speaker since March 2011, delivering presentations at major industry events including South by Southwest EDU and the American Marketing Association Symposium. Previous roles include Market Insights Manager at Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation, where Liz developed an internal market research agency, and Instructor for a social media measurement course at Higher Ed Experts. Liz holds a Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service in Higher Education from Cardinal Stritch University, along with an M.Ed. in Educational Policy and Leadership from Marquette University, a BA in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and a course certificate in Web Analytics for Higher Education from Higher Ed Experts.
