Brooke Sterneck

Brooke Sterneck is the current VP, Product at CampusESP. Prior to their current position, Sterneck was a 2017 Venture For America Fellow. In this role, they committed to spending two years at a high-growth company in an emerging startup ecosystem. While there, Sterneck learned firsthand what it takes to build a company, while also receiving mentorship, network support, and ongoing preparation to become a successful entrepreneur herself.

Before their time with Venture For America, Sterneck worked as a Government Relations Intern with McGuireWoods Consulting. There, they were responsible for preparing the firm's weekly legislative reports and end-of-session overviews. This required Sterneck to review and analyze legislative developments for 20+ clients across diverse industries. In addition to this, they also assisted lobbyists in researching and writing briefs, position statements, client pitches, RFPs, and public relations materials - many of which were sent directly to the client or state legislature. Lastly, Sterneck monitored various legislative meetings and clients' PR campaigns to track the progress of policy initiatives.

Brooke Sterneck has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Policy and English-Creative Writing from Northwestern University and a Philology & Theirtory and Geography degree from Universidad de Sevilla. Brooke also attended Roslyn High School.

CampusESP

CampusESP addresses family, college and student needs by creating an online experience that focuses on the development of the family-college relationship. Parents and families can view student progress, campus news, campus events, and topics important to families. CampusESP is unique in utilizing student data, via a FERPA waiver process, to create a personalized experience for families that focuses their involvement and creates an experience for the college parent journey. The CampusESP platform: • Centrally manages family information & involvement preferences, streamlining college outreach efforts, • Provides information over a variety of devices (Web, mobile, email), building parent trust, and • Proactively alerts parents on topics requiring action, facilitating student success. Many campuses already form relationships with parents during the recruitment process. CampusESP extends those relationships after the student has initially enrolled and during each year they return.
