Higher Ed Sales Director at CampusPress

Christine Donovan is currently the Higher Ed Sales Director at CampusPress. Prior to that, they were an Information Technology Specialist/Digital Projects Specialist at James Madison University from August 2013 to December 2016. In that role, they consulted with university faculty and staff to design and develop WordPress websites for their classroom and professional development, supported the university's community of over 20,000 students and 2,600 faculty and staff in using WordPress and other technology such as Omeka and interactive timelines, provided WordPress user documentation for clients on topics such as publishing posts, embedding media, working with theme settings, and using plugins, copyedited the department’s internal multi-authored reports for consistency in voice, design and grammar, and assisted in the management of plugins, themes and websites on the university’s WordPress multisite network.

Prior to their role as an Information Technology Specialist/Digital Projects Specialist, Christine served as a Graduate Assistant for JMU Academic Policy and Curriculum Development from August 2012 to May 2013. In that role, they provided support to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs in the areas of academic policy development and implementation, curriculum review and approval processes, and special projects related to academic planning and assessment. Christine also assisted with the production of the JMU undergraduate catalogs.

Christine Donovan has a Master of Arts in Technical and Scientific Communication from James Madison University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication from the same school.

Their manager is Sue Waters, Head of Sales & Support. Christine Donovan works with Jason Teitelma - Account Manager, Barry Stofberg - Account Manager, and Eugene Brown - K12 & Int’l Sales Director.
